In 2022, Church World Service provided over 96,000 CWS kits and blankets to people in 28 countries CWS is there to help the homeless, the refugee and survivors of natural disasters. The program was created to give a kind, loving and tangible response to someone facing a difficult time, reminding them they are not alone. Last year HRC contributed $1,645 for CWS blankets. To donate this year go to the registration link on this page. Donations may also be made by CWS envelopes, found in the vestibule, dropped in the offering or mailed to the church. In addition, our Sunday School children will be decorating our traditional take out food containers to collect change throughout Lent for the purchase of blankets and kits.
