On November 16th, our class will begin a study of the Bible using an ancient Christian practice called lectio divina ("divine reading') which was developed by a 12th century monk. With the help of a guide written by Gary Neal Hansen titled Love Your Bible, we will explore Scripture using a four-step process: reading, meditating on, praying and contemplating selected passages. Our prayer is to grow our faith as we move through the Bible, asking God for understanding and guidance.
