Stewardship and Finance
The Stewardship and Finance Committee of the Hillsborough Reformed Church maintains the oversight for a healthy and successful financial foundation for the church.
Working with the Treasurer(s), financial secretary, Deacons and auditors, the committee ensures the proper collection and deposit of the weekly and special collections. The committee also oversees the use of the collected funds.
The Committee maintains an awareness of the stewardship and financial trends within the Congregation.
Working with the General Treasurer, Trust Fund Treasurer, Deaconís Fund Treasurer, and auditors, the committee makes recommendations to the Consistory regarding trust funds, investments, fund drives, memorial gifts and endowments.
The Committee is responsible for preparing the annual budget for the Congregation.
The Deaconís Fund Treasurer, along with the Consistoryís Deacons, administers the Deaconís Fund. The Deaconís Fund is for Human Needs and Emergencies within the Congregation and Community.
